Ashok Khemka, IAS posted as Transport Commissioner
Haryana IAS officer, Dr. Ashok Khemka, who exposed the discrepancy in mutation pertaining to Vadra-DLF land deals, has been posted as Transport Commissioner and Secretary (Transport).1991-batch IAS officer Khemka, who was Director-General and Secretary, Archives Department, had cancelled mutation of the land of Congress President Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law with DLF in Shikohabad in Gurgaon district. In a new twist to Ashok Khemka transfer row, the IAS officer today said he is not in the list of Election Commission (EC) for poll duty as of now and claimed that he has received a letter from the Haryana Government in which it is clearly mentioned that his position will be given to another officer only when he proceed for election duty.
He also claimed that his charge has not been transferred to another officer.
On November 1, Khemka had received a letter from the Harynana government where it was mentioned that his charge will be temporarily transferred to another officer as he would be on election duty.
Khemka, who is witnessing the 44th transfer of his 22-year career in the Indian Administrative Service, alleged that he was persecuted for challenging land deals involving Robert Vadra.
