ITB India 2025 Wraps Up in Mumbai with Global Participation

ITB India 2025 wrapped up in Mumbai after three days of dynamic business meetings, networking, and knowledge exchange. The event reaffirmed its position as one of the most important platforms for the travel and tourism industry in South Asia. Held from 2–4 September at the Jio World Convention Centre, the show welcomed global exhibitors, travel buyers, and industry leaders.

The trade show was co-located with MICE Show India and Travel Tech India, bringing together professionals from leisure, corporate, and technology-driven travel. ITB India 2025 created opportunities for collaboration and growth in one of the fastest-growing travel markets.

A Global Stage for Travel and Tourism

This year, more than 600 travel trade buyers participated in the event. Nearly 4,000 confirmed one-on-one meetings between buyers and exhibitors. Over 50% of exhibitors were international, showcasing the global appeal of the Indian travel market. Exhibitors included Wonderful Indonesia, Visit Northern Finland, Ministry of Heritage and Tourism Oman, Sarawak Tourism Board, Ha Noi Tourism Information and Promotion Centre, Destination 2 Italia, and leading hospitality brands.

Speaking about the success, Darren Seah, Executive Director of Messe Berlin Asia Pacific, highlighted that ITB India 2025 demonstrated the resilience of the tourism sector and reinforced India’s role as a gateway to the Asia-Pacific region.

Partner States and India’s Diversity

The event also placed a spotlight on India’s domestic tourism potential. Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Madhya Pradesh participated as the Official Partner States. They showcased the cultural and natural experiences unique to their regions. Their presence underscored India’s commitment to promoting diverse destinations to an international audience.

Knowledge and Innovation at the Forefront

The ITB India Conference 2025 delivered over 1,440 minutes of content across 40 sessions. With four dedicated tracks—Knowledge Theatre, MICE & Corporate, Travel Tech, and Experiential Travel—the conference explored the future of tourism. More than 80 global leaders shared their expertise. The list includes representatives from Google, MakeMyTrip, Indian Hotels Company Limited, FCM Meetings & Events, Thomas Cook India, SOTC Travel Limited, and others.

The debut of the Experiential Travel track was a highlight. It reflected the rising demand for immersive journeys, from cruise travel and cultural tourism to sustainable travel experiences.

Looking Ahead to ITB India 2026

ITB India 2025 concluded on a high note, strengthening connections between the Indian, South Asian, and global travel markets. The next edition, ITB India 2026, will return from 2–4 September 2026. With early registrations already open, the event promises to build on this year’s success.
